All KUC teachers have an unconditional love for children and the learning process. They have college degrees and/or significant experience and training in the field. As the education field expands and develops, KUC teachers all stay current by attending classes provided by Loudoun County. They have access to a wide variety of children’s developmental resource books. All teachers undergo criminal background checks prior to employment.
Both directors and most teachers are CPR/AED First Aid certified. The directors are PMAT certified.
KUC Preschool operates as a Religious Exempt Program (Code of Virginia 63.2-1715) exempt from licensure with basic health and safety requirements that are filed annually with the Commissioner but has no direct oversight by the Department of Social Services.
And actually, most KUC teachers are super heroes!
