KUC will open for drop off at 8:55am.
Please park in the parking lot and walk your child to their classroom to sign them in for the day. Don’t forget to mark whether or not they are staying for lunch bunch that day.
Students should be picked up promptly at noon.
For dismissal, please pull into the circle. To keep things moving smoothly, we ask that you do not get out of your car. If your child cannot buckle themselves, pull down to the “Buckle Zone” parking lot. This is where you may get out of the car to buckle your child.
A late fee will be charged for the time from noon until the time the parent arrived. The fee is calculated in 5 minute increments. You will be charged $5 for every five minutes you are late past 12:05. This charge can be paid at the time of occurrence or added to the next month’s tuition payment.
Late pick-ups are stressful for children and it is our intent to avoid this situation entirely. However, there are times when it cannot be avoided and we ask that you call as soon as you can so that we can soothe any worries or sad faces.
Inclement Weather
KUC Preschool follows the Loudoun County Public School system for all closings and delays.
In the event of inclement weather and Loudoun County Public Schools are delayed, KUC will follow this schedule:
- 1 hour delay – KUC opens at 10am
- 2 hour delay – KUC opens 10:00am
We will still close at noon.
If there is a change in the weather during school we will contact parents to alert them if it is safer to have an early closing. You will receive an email in the morning in the event of a delay or unscheduled closure.
